Professor Li Si Won the 2020 Emerald Literati Highly Commended Award

Recently, the results of 2020 Emerald Literati Awards for Excellence were announced. The paper entitled with Investigation and Analysis of Research Support Services in Academic Libraries by Professor Li Si of our school won the Highly Commended Paper in the 2020 Emerald Literati Awards for Excellence.


This paper was published in SSCI journal ELECTRONIC LIBRARY, Vol: 37, Issue: 2,281-301 in the field of Library and Information Science in 2019. This paper made a comprehensive survey on the scientific research support services of world-class university libraries, summarized the key services by using statistical methods and visualization software, and revealed the corresponding implementation methods through text analysis and case analysis. This research is helpful to improve the scientific research support service of university library, so as to promote the work of researchers and scientific discovery.

Emerald Publishing Group is one of the largest publishers of management, economics, engineering and library science journals in the world, publishing nearly 300 academic journals and 2500 scientific research books every year. Emerald has been selecting and awarding Emerald Literati Awards for Excellence worldwide for 26 years. It aims to praise and reward authors and reviewers for their outstanding contributions to academic research. The Highly Commended Paper Award is set up for the author, the editorial board of each journal selects 1 to 3 excellent articles for the global authors of the journal every year, and awards the international certificate of Highly Commended Paper Award. The criteria for the award include, but are not limited to, new breakthroughs in knowledge system or subject methodology, excellent framework and writing skills, strong analysis, close relevance to practice and future research.
