On August 15, 2020, the Opening Report Meeting ofResearch on Cloud Platform Construction and Intelligent Service of Science and Education Evaluation Based on Big Data,one of the major projects of the National Social Science Fund of China of 2019, which has been led by Professor Xiaobo Tang of our school was held successfully via the Tencent Meeting.

The Project Opening Report Meeting was presided over by Professor Jiang Wu, Associate Dean of our school.

Professor Qing Fang congratulated the successful application of the project. He pointed out that project research should be based on problems, face the major strategic needs of the country, and strengthen the think tank role of project results. We should firmly establish the awareness of problems, innovation and high-quality, base on the academic frontier, reflect the limited objectives, highlight the research focus, pay attention to the research methods, and produce high-level scientific research results.

Xingrong Fu expressed his heartfelt thanks to the leaders and experts for their long-term strong support for the discipline construction of the school. He hoped that the research group would widely absorb advanced theoretical achievements and practical experience at home and abroad, carry out systematic and in-depth research on the current practical problems, complete the research tasks with quality and quantity according to the project schedule, and make good use of the project funds and output remarkable works.

Professor Xiaobo Tang expressed his gratitude to the experts for their valuable opinions and suggestions, the platform provided by the school and university, and the hard work of the project team members in the project application process. According to the opinions and suggestions of experts, the research group would further improve the research scheme, refine the key issues, strengthen the cooperation and communication among the members of the research group, complete the research tasks according to the project schedule and produce high-quality research results.
