The 7th International Conference for Smart Health (ICSH 2019) was held in Shenzhen from June 30 to July 2, 2019. The conference was organized by Donlinks School of Economics and Management, University of Science and Technology Beijing, and co-organized by Shenzhen AI & Data Science Research Institute. ICSH, founded in 2013, is to create a bridge to promote lively exchange and collaborations between the growing international smart health research scholars and communities, and to advance our understanding about the technical, practical, economic, behavioral, and social issues center on smart health. It is a unique forum for researchers with cross-disciplinary interests to meet and interact.

This conference theme was "Smart Health in Big Data Era". There were 8 sessions during two days, including the following four aspects: Data science/Analytics/Clinical & Business Intelligence, Clinical Informatics & Clinician Engagement, Precision Medicine & Telehealth and Social, Psychosocial & Behavioral Determinants of Health. Professor Wu Jiang, from our school, was appointed as PC Chair of the conference and served as the session chair "Clinical Informatics & Clinician Engagement". Ph.D students Cai Jingxuan, Huang Xiao, He Chaocheng, Chen Tao and Zhang Wang from our school presented their papers respectively, which covered different aspects of the conference.

As an international conference, ICSH was launched by Professor Chen Hsinchun from University of Arizona, who is also one of the four keynote speakers in the conference. In recent years, teachers and students from our school have published more than 40 journals and conference papers in the field of smart health, and our school has encouraged teachers and students to participate in this important international conference. On the one hand, it is beneficial to our school to keep up with and try to lead the research frontier. On the other hand, it is also beneficial to promote the international impact of our school in the field of Information Science.
