On the afternoon of March 25,Zhigang Li, Dean of the School of Urban Design, Wuhan University, andMin Huang, Associate Dean of the School of Urban Design, led the teachers of the Architecture Department and Design Department to communicate with our school.

People attended the meeting were as followings:

Wei Lu, Dean of the SIM, Wuhan University,

Gang Li, Director of the Center for Studies of Information Resources, Wuhan University, Key Research Base of Humanities and Social Sciences of Ministry of Education,

Jiang Wu, Associate Dean of the SIM, Wuhan University,

Xiaoguang Wang, Associate Dean of the SIM, Wuhan University,

and some teachers of the SIM attended the meeting.

Wei Lu warmly welcomed Zhigang Li and his team, and he gave a comprehensive introduction to the general situation of our school, and said that the two schools have always maintained communication and exchanges, and he would actively promote the cross-integration of disciplines between the two schools, empower the research and personnel training work of the School of Urban Design, and expand deeper development space of Library, Information, and Archives Management.

Zhigang Li introduced the relevant situation of the School of Urban Design, and hoped that the two schools could establish a long-term and stable communication mechanism in the future, further strengthen ties and make common progress and development.

At the meeting, the two schools conducted extensive exchanges and discussions on subjects such as interdisciplinary integration, scientific research cooperation, personnel training and social services.
