Recently, Wuhan University published the commendation list of2021 Wuhan University Advanced Groups andAdvanced Individuals in College Students’ Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competitions. Our school was awardedAdvanced Group, Rural Jolly Meet Team andAll the Way to Guizhou Team were awarded Outstanding Teams, Jiang Wu and Zhongyi Hu were awarded Excellent Instructors, and Qian Dai and Xiaoyu Chen were awarded Advanced Workers.

In 2021, students and teachers of our school achieved excellent results in extracurricular academic science and technology innovation and entrepreneurship competitions, especially in the 7th China International College Students' "Internet +" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, which achieved a historic breakthrough.

The team is in charged by Zhoucan Xu, a doctoral student of our school, and under the guidance of Professor Jiang Wu and Associate Professor Zhongyi Hu and other teachers.

All the Way to Guizhou -- A Construction Plan for Guizhou Rural Primary School Chunhui Bookstorewon the bronze prize of the Public Welfare Track of "Youth Red Dream Tour". The team is in charged by Wei Feng, a 2018 undergraduate in Library Science of our school, and under the guidance of Professor Jiang Wu.

Guangxi on the Cloud -- Sustainable Development Model of Digital Villages Driven by Cultural Intellectual Propertywon the gold medal of Hubei Province in Industry Proposition Track. The team is in charged by Zhe Cao, a 2019 undergraduate majored in Information Management and Information System of our school, and under the guidance of Professor Jiang Wu.

For a long time, the school has attached great importance to the innovation and entrepreneurship of college students. Adhering to the school motto, which is "pioneering creation, pragmatic entrepreneurship, leading innovation", the school vigorously promotes students' education in innovation, originality and entrepreneurship, stimulates students' enthusiasm for participating in extracurricular academic science and technology innovation and entrepreneurship competitions through various channels and means, and creates a good atmosphere for innovation and entrepreneurship. In 2021, the school listed "promoting the reform and exploration of undergraduates’ innovation and entrepreneurship education" as one of the ten major events, and started the drafting of relevant motivationpolicy.During the preparation of the 7th China International College Students' "Internet +" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the school greatly supported in many aspects such as competition guidance and logistics support.
