Recently,Data and Information Management (DIM),an English academic journal managed by Wuhan University, was officially indexed in Scopus, an internationally renowned database. This is another important progress after DIM was indexed in the Recommended List of High Quality Journals by the Federation of Management Societies of China (FMS).
DIM was founded in 2017. Feicheng Ma, Senior Professor of Humanities and Social Sciences at Wuhan University, and Gary Marchionini, Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA, are the Chief Editors. Dan Wu, Professor at the SIM of Wuhan University, is the Executive Editor. It is published in OA mode. DIM is based on the field of Data Science and Information Management, focusing on the technology and management issues of information collection, dissemination, organization, retrieval and utilization driven by big data. DIM has been adhering to the concept of internationalization, and is managed and operated in strict accordance with the standards of international academic journals. In recent years, DIM has continuously expanded its academic influence and gradually established a good reputation and academic discourse power by holding high-level international academic conferences, organizing special articles on hot issues, and inviting contribution from world-class scholars.
