Recently, the National Office of Philosophy and Social Sciences (NOPSS) publicized the evaluation results of the 2021 Major Projects of the National Social Science Fund of China. Four research projects, the highest number of projects in SIM’s history, were approved.

The four research projects are as followings:

Collection, Collation and Research of Chinese Ancient Agricultural Books led by Professor Ping Wu,

Research on the Construction and Service of Cultural Heritage Smart Data Resources led by Professor Xiaoguang Wang,

Research on the Construction of Big Data Sovereign Security System led by Professor Congjing Ran,

Research on the Virtual Reality Media Narrative led by Professor Lifang Xu.

A total of 10 research projects of Wuhan University have been approved in 2021, and among which, 4 projects are of our school. The approval reflects our school's strong scientific research capability in the field of information management and lays a good foundation for the scientific research in the beginning of the 14th Five-Year Plan.
