The title ofChaofan Yang’saward-winning paper is Disentangling the Effects of Client- vs. Rival-Oriented Strategies on Bidding Performance: Evidence from a Crowdsourcing Platform.The paper link ishttps://aisel.aisnet.org/pacis2021/80/. This paper integrated the strategies in the research of bidding crowdsourcing for the first time, and put forward situational strategy of a crowdsourcing platform. The paper was jointly directed by Yongqiang Sun, Professor at the School of Information Management, Wuhan University, and Chee-Wee Tan, Professor at the Copenhagen Business School, the co-authors include Bingqing Xiong, a PHD candidate at City University of Hong Kong, and Eric Lim, a PHD candidate at University of New South Wales.

More than 2000 people registered at thePacific Asia Conference on Information Systems (PACIS 2021).487 papers submitted and 247 were accepted. There were 17 sub-forums in the conference. Each sub-forum nominated and recommended one best paper. Finally, the Program Committee selected the only best paper of the conference.

PACIS is one of the three regional academic conferences affiliated to the Association for Information Systems (AIS). It is the highest level academic conference in the field of information systems in the Asia Pacific region. Since its inception in 1993, it has gathered well-known scholars from all over the world to discuss cutting-edge topics in the field of information systems every year.
