On the afternoon of May 17, Yan Zhang,CPC Secretary andDirector of Shenzhen Library,Di Wu, Director of HR Department, Yang Wang, Deputy Director of Business Development Department,visited our school. Wei Lu, Dean of the School of Information Management and representatives of teachers attended the exchange meeting.Congjing Ran, Director of the Department of Library Science,presided over the meeting.

Wei Lu introduced our school from the aspects ofdevelopment process, discipline system and characteristic advantages, reviewed the cooperation history between Shenzhen Library and our school, and he hoped that both sides can complement each other in the future and carry out in-depth cooperation in more fields. Wei Lu issued Letter of Appointment of External Part-Time Tutor for Postgraduates of Library and Information Science of Wuhan University to Yan Zhang.

Yan Zhang expressed that she was very honored to be External Part-Time Tutor for Postgraduates of Wuhan University, and she hoped to contribute to the cultivation of talents for the School of Information Management of Wuhan University. Yan Zhang introduced the basic situation of Shenzhen Library, especially mentioning that a large number of graduates from the School of Information Management of Wuhan University are the backbone of Shenzhen Library and play key roles in the work of different departments. She pointed out that in the process of the state's strong support for the development of public cultural services and the promotion of intelligent transformation of services, the academic community and the industry need to further strengthen ties, and the theoretical research and practice platforms need to support each other to jointly promote the prosperity and development of China's public cultural services.

The participants discussed on how to promote the in-depth cooperation between the two sides and put forward specific cooperation ideas in the fields of cooperative research, practice base, education and training. The two sides expressed that they would further promote the effective implementation of cooperation.
