On April 1, our school successfully held the Information Management Sub-forum of the 8th International Interdisciplinary Forum of Wuhan University. Six outstanding young scholars from outside the university attended the online forum and made academic reports. Leaders of CPC, members of the Professors' Committee, heads of the teaching and research departments, discipline leaders and teachers' representatives attended the forum. Jiang Wu,Associate Dean of SIM,Wuhan University,presided over the meeting.

At the opening ceremony,Wei Lu, Dean of SIM, Wuhan University,on behalf of the school, welcomed the gathering of six young talents across time and space. He pointed out that the school has a history of one hundred years, with many famous teachers and talents. In the new era, SIM will continue to promote the strategy of "strengthening the school with talents", promote interdisciplinary and academic innovation, and look forward to their participation.

Subsequently, six young scholars made academic reports in turn. The report focused on the latest research trends and achievements in the fields of financial data, geographic data, biological data and archives management. With this forum, the experts and scholars of the school had in-depth exchanges and interaction with young talents.

At the closing ceremony,Xingrong Fu,CPC Secretary of SIM,Wuhan University,made a summary speech. He expressed his sincere welcome to the joining of the young talents at home and abroad, and to grow, progress and develop with the school together.
