On March 29, the final of the 2021 "Torch Cup" Student Volleyball Competition of Wuhan University was held at Zhuoer Gymnasium. After three rounds of fierce competition, our school women's volleyball team beat the School of Telecommunications women's volleyball team 3-0 and won the championship. Yuqi Xia, a 2018-grade undergraduate, won "The Most Valuable Player Award", and Yue Zhang, a 2017-grade undergraduate, won "The Best Passer Award".

The women's volleyball team of our school defeated the School of Resources and Environment, the School of Urban Design, the School of Power and Machinery, the School of Political Management, the School of Remote Sensing, the School of New Media Communication, the School of Electrical Engineering and the School of Mathematics, and finally ushered in the final with the women's volleyball team of the School of Telecommunications. Qian Dai,CPC Deputy Secretary of SIM,all the teachers of the student affairs office, and more than 200 undergraduates and postgraduates of SIM came to the match to cheer for the volleyball players.

Winning the 2021 "Torch Cup" Student Volleyball Championship was inseparable from the hard work of every member of the women's volleyball team, the cheering of every SIMer and the warm support of the SIM family.
