"Good shot!" On the court, the players smashed, and the audience was amazed and burst into warm applause. On the evening of April 7, a badminton friendly match between students and teachers jointly organized by the SIM Trade Union and the SIM Postgraduates' Union was held at Guiyuan Playground of Wuhan University, attracting 35 students and teachers to participated in. Xingrong Fu, CPC Secretary of the SIM, and Wei Lu, Dean of the SIM, took the lead in the competition, and many students and teachers watched the match on the spot.

The match was conducted by on-site draw, random team formation and team competition. 35 players were divided into 7 teams according to the principle of students and teachers collocation, and the champion, runner up, and second runner up was decided through group round robin and knockout. Each round of the match adopts the rule of three wins and 21 points in five sets of doubles, and each member of the team must play at least one set to ensure the participation of the activity.

After three hours of fierce competition, the competition ended in laughter. Players and audiences were keeping their interest, and they still discussed and learned from each other, and constantly reminisce about the wonderful moments of the competition.

Badminton is a popular sport among students and teachers in our school. This friendly match attracted the attention and participation of students and teachers, provided them with a platform to show themselves and learn from each other, narrowed the distance between students and teachers, and also showed the teachers' sports style outside of teaching and research. Students' vigorous skills outside the classroom and laboratory are conducive to cultivating students' spirit of loving sports, uniting and helping each other, and being brave in hard work.
