Focusing on the field of information retrieval and service, Dan Wu has persisted in carrying out scientific research and achieved fruitful results. In recent years, she has presided over a number of provincial and ministerial-level projects such as Major Projects of the National Social Science Fund of China, and won many provincial and ministerial-level awards such as Youth Achievement Award of the Outstanding Achievement Award of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education, and the First Prize of Excellent Achievement Award of Social Sciences of Hubei Province. She has held important positions in many societies, such as in Library Society of China and Chinese Information Society of Social Sciences. She is a director of the Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) and Editor-in-Chief ofAslib Journal of Information Management, aninternationally renowned academic journal.
