On December 2, the Launching Ceremony of "Luojia SIM+" Academic Platform and "Luojia SIM+Youth Talks" (No. 1) were successfully held at the school. Wei Lu, Dean of the SIM, Wuhan University, attended the event and delivered a speech at the launching ceremony. He expressed that "Luojia SIM+" is an exclusive academic platform established by the school. "Luojia SIM+" consists of Magnate Talks, Youth Talks, Lectures, New Book Meetings and other events. The platform will plan, design and organize different kinds of academic activities, and will provide more academic exchange opportunities for teachers, students and academic peers inside and outside the school, enhance the collision of ideas and wisdom, and jointly promote the growth of academic community and the development of disciplines.

The theme of the first "Luojia SIM+Youth Talks" was How to Spend Life on Social Media. Four young teachers of the SIM, including Shaobo Liang, Fan Zhang, Liang Zhao, and Zibo Wang, held on-site talks. Four teachers first put forward the changes brought by social media to our life, work and scientific research, which aroused the audience's resonance. Subsequently, they put forward their own ideas and opinions from the group acceleration effect of video social media, the comparison between search engines and social media, social media transfer behavior, social media false information and other aspects. Finally, the four teachers imagined and looked forward to the future development of social media in Metaverse.

As the first activity launched by the brand of"Luojia SIM+"academic activity, this"Luojia SIM+Youth Talks"adopted the combination of onsite and virtual live broadcast, which was webcast via the platform of Xueshuzhi and Bilibili, and made a brand-new attempt in content and form, fully demonstrated the elegance and wisdom of young teachers of the SIM.
