Recently, the Institute for Chinese Social Sciences Research and Assessment, Nanjing University has published the Directory of Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index (CSSCI) (2021-2022) Source Journal. Among the 64 journals included in the subject categories of journalism and communication, library information and literature, and art, 3 journals managed by our school, which are Documentation, Information & Knowledge(in Chinese), Publishing Journal(in Chinese), Journal of Information ResourcesManagement (in Chinese) were selected.

Documentation, Information & Knowledge(in Chinese) is a journal funded by National Social Science Fund, CSSCI source journal, national Chinese core journal, and authoritative journal of Chinese Humanities and Social Sciences. The journal is sponsored by the Ministry of Education and hosted by Wuhan University, and managed by the School of Information Management, Wuhan University and Center for Studies of Information Resources, Wuhan University. It has been successively rated as excellent library journal in China and excellent journal of Hubei Province, and was selected into Federation of Management Societies of China (FMS) Journal Rating Guide.

Publishing Journal(in Chinese) is a CSSCI source journal, national Chinese core journal, Chinese core journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (Level A), a journal included in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), an excellent journal of Hubei Province, and sponsored by Wuhan University's Special Project for the Construction of Excellent Journals in Humanities and Social Sciences. Hubei Press and Publication Bureau is in charge of this journal, Hubei Editorial Society and Wuhan University manages it.Publishing Journal(in Chinese) founded in 1993 and published by the School of Information Management, Wuhan University since 2006.

Journal of Information ResourcesManagement (in Chinese) founded in 2011. The journal is sponsored by the Ministry of Education and hosted by Wuhan University, and managed by the School of Information Management, Wuhan University and Center for Studies of Information Resources, Wuhan University. As the first academic journal with the same subject name in the field of information resource management, it has become the source journal of CSSCI and core journal of Chinese Humanities and Social Sciences.

Relying on the advantages of the School of Information Management, Wuhan University and research strength of the Center for Studies of Information Resources, Wuhan University, Documentation, Information & Knowledge(in Chinese), Publishing Journal(in Chinese), Journal of Information Resources Management(in Chinese) and Data and Information Management, which are all edited and operated by Journal Center of the School of Information Management, Wuhan University. The influence and academic quality of the four journals have been steadily improved.
