On the evening of November 19, the Dance Competition of the 34th Wuhan University Golden Autumn Art Festival was held in the Student Center of the Information Science Campus. The workEcho of Life, performed by the SIM Student Dance Society, won the third prize in this dance competition.

At the beginning of the competition, the SIM team was the first to perform. The dancers dressed in traditional Li clothing and accessories, with the rhythm of music, hit the bowl with chopsticks, showing the beautiful scenes of Li people's hard work, wisdom, unity and struggle, and building a beautiful hometown.

Echo of Lifeoriginates from the intangible culture of the Li nationality in Baoting, Hainan Province, namely, dance of knocking on the bowl, and exploring the dialogue with heaven and earth through the beating of bowls. For thousands of years, the people of Li nationality have abided by the law of reincarnation of nature. Every time they sow and harvest, the smell of new life in the lush youth reverberates and lasts for a long time.

Although this Dance Competition of the 34th Wuhan University Golden Autumn Art Festival was postponed due to the epidemic situation, the SIM student dancers were still full of enthusiasm, rehearsed actively, and achieved good results under pressure. We hope that the SIM students will achieve even greater success in the coming debate competition, sitcom competition and costume contest.
